Julia Porretta is the Head of School and the Head Directress for the CASA classroom at Alexandra Ridge Montessori. Julia has a deep rooted passion for education in infants and young children which lead her to complete her Undergraduate Degree in Music Education from University of Toronto, her Masters in Music and Early Childhood Education at York University, her Teaching Beginner, Elementary and Advanced Piano certificates from the Royal Conservatory of Music, as well training in Infant/ Toddler Montessori and her Primary (Casa) certificates.
Over the years, Julia’s passion for education has allowed her to grow her love for the Montessori Method. Julia firmly believes that the most important years of life are zero to three and wanted to open a school to help support, nurture and guide children in their most precious and formative years.
